We believe the built environment should elevate the human spirit. Every RowUI project is a fusion of BIM-grade engineering, ecologically responsible material sourcing, and a deep respect for the site — designed to feel inevitable, not imposed.
Architectural Philosophy
Form follows emotion. We design for how a space feels at sunset, how the light hits a stone wall in December, and how air moves through a room in August. This emotional intelligence is what separates a RowUI residence from a well-drawn plan.

Our signature discipline is the ultra-luxury villa. Private galleries, subterranean garages, wellness wings, and gallery-grade lighting — every villa is bespoke, calibrated to the rituals and future of a single family.
Structural Engineering Excellence
Behind every quiet facade sits a rigorous engineering programme. We collaborate with world-class structural offices to make cantilevers, frameless glass spans, and floating floor plates safe, permanent, and buildable.
Material Curation
We spend hundreds of hours sourcing each material. Rare Italian marble, low-iron structural glass, hand-charred cedar, carbon-neutral steel — the tactile experience of a building matters as much as its silhouette.
Smart Home Integration
Every project is delivered with an invisible technology layer — climate, lighting, acoustics, security, and shading — controlled through concealed interfaces so the architecture is never interrupted by hardware.
Sustainable Luxury
Real luxury is durable. We integrate geothermal loops, photovoltaic glass, passive cooling, and rainwater harvesting so a RowUI home reduces its operating cost year on year without compromising presence.
Discovery, Sketch, Model, Build
Our five-stage process — discovery, schematic, development, documentation, supervision — is public, phase-billed, and never rushed. Clients see the building take shape long before ground is broken.
Interior Synergy
Architecture and interior design are one discipline at RowUI. We design bones and skin together, so every switch, handle, and reveal is native to the structure — not decoration applied afterward.
Acoustic & Light Engineering
We design for silence and for the sun. Perforated wood ceilings, cove lighting, and micro-tuned window placements let a room feel calm at 8am and cinematic at 8pm.
Global Delivery, Local Trust
We operate across Lisbon, Copenhagen, Dubai, and New York. Every project is delivered with a local technical partner, so the drawings we sign are the buildings you inhabit.

We work with founders, artists, and heads of state. NDAs, secure data rooms, and role-based access are default — your project details, location, and identity are protected as rigorously as they are drawn.

Julian Vance
Founding Principal & Lead Architect
With a career spanning over two decades and a Master's degree from ETH Zurich, Julian Vance founded RowUI with a singular mission: to strip away the noise of modern architecture and return to the purity of form and material. Julian's work is characterised by a 'quiet strength' — structures that feel monumental yet integrated into their landscape. Before establishing RowUI, Julian led major luxury developments across the Swiss Alps and the Mediterranean. His expertise lies in the 'Human-Centric Blueprint,' a methodology that prioritises the inhabitant's psychological well-being through spatial flow and natural light. Under his leadership, RowUI has grown from a boutique Lisbon studio into a global authority in luxury design. Julian remains hands-on with every project, personally overseeing the conceptual phase of every villa that bears the RowUI name.
